November 21th, 2003. Captain Mike Abujuma and Sam Singh caught this huge rockfish. They were trolling off of the radar towers when the fish hit a chartreuse umbrella. The rockfish tipped the scales at 28 pounds 6 ounces and measured 44-1/2" long. Great catch Mike!

November 16th, Captain Phil Neff, 1st Mate Alan Allner, 2nd Mate "Bear" and Angler Peter Knudsen from Ellicott City, MD. caught this great rockfish. Peter's catch tipped the scales at 29 pounds and was 41" long. The catch was made off of Holland Point using their special custom "Bubba Umbrella".

November 7th, Captain Al Jones aboard "My Bea" Deale, MD. with Angler Roland Chartier Sr. of Falls Church, VA. caught this Humongus Rockfish. Roland's catch was 45" long and 36 pounds caught between buoys 79A & 81A. Hot Lure believe it or not, purple hose.

November 2nd, Mark Pitra & Mark Tise of Deale, MD. caught these nice rockfish. They were trolling off of Chesapeake Beach when the hookups were made using small rigged umbrellas.

Sky Geary of Silver Spring, Md. with his first fish, a 10-1/4" Spot, he caught in Herring Bay August 10, 2003 on a bloodworm.

The Great Fishermen had a wonderful day fishing on August 10. Robert Rank of Churchton, MD. and Malcolm Tarlton, Jr. of Upper Marlboro, MD. with an enormous catch of Citation/Patch size Spot, Croaker, White Perch and Bluefish they caught in Herring Bay on squid and bloodworms.

Rickey Huckleby and his Nana (JJ) Huckleby went fishing aboard the Jil Carrie with Captain Jim Brincefield and Family on July 31, 2003. What a great time we had catching spot, croaker and rockfish. Here's a nice 22" Rockfish they caught while chumming at the Gooses July 31, 2003.

Kolt Fox of Leesburg, VA. caught this nice 33-1/4" Rockfish trolling off of Chesapeake Beach in 32' of water. The fish took a red eel.

Clinton Leonard of Vienna, VA. caught this nice 30" Rockfish trolling off of Chesapeake Beach in 32" of water. Another catch with a red eel.

Sarah Levendusky 4 YEARS OLD caught her first fish a spot in Herring Bay on August 3, 2003.

Neil Sims with a North Carolina citation Barracuda caught on the "Ol' Salt" out of Teach's Lair Marina. Neil was fishing out of Hatteras on July 14th of this year with Roger Sims and Rob Sims.

George Wong of North Bethesda, MD with a huge striper caught 5/6/03. The rockfish was 49 inches and 44 pounds.

Stephen Martin with a magnificent trophy rockfish he caught on 5/5/03. The striper measured 45 inches in length.

Karen Senior was fishing for perch off Franklin Manor Pier in Churchton, MD. on April 12, before the rockfish season came in. What a surprise when this 30 inch rockfish took the bait (see below).

Karen's nice rockfish was caught on the tiny hook shown to the left, next to a penny.
