JJ's Tackle Shop has moved to a larger location in Solomons Maryland!  The fishing shop has the best of both worlds located on Solomons Island in between the Patuxent River and the Chesapeake Bay.  The larger facility offers customers more inventory to chose from. Top shelf reels and rods as well as single baits and bulk merchandise.   If not in stock, orders will be filled in 3-5 days with the best prices.  Check out our huge wall of hand made parachutes and bucktail baits.  These baits are hand made by several local watermen -- they do not come off a machine-made assembly line. Come in and request your own designed custom baits. Custom made umbrella rigs, with single baits or double baits in 3 sizes --- small, medium and large.   Pre-rigged tandems and several sizes of bullet heads, ruby lips, spiral heads and pac man baits.  We have a huge live and frozen bait selection.. Live Baits:  live spot, live peeler crabs, live soft crabs and minnows. Frozen Baits: Spot, peeler crabs, soft crabs, alewives by the bag or by the flat, chicken necks by the bag or by the 40 pound case. Squid strips or 1 pound boxes, bait shrimp, minnows, grass shrimp, clam snouts,  Fresh Baits: Large bloodworms and night crawlers, live spot, live peeler crabs and live soft crabs.  Alewives by the bag for crab pots.  Alewives by the flat (almost a bushel) for chummers. Chicken necks by the bag for crab pots or traps. Chicken necks by the 40 lb boxes to bait your trot lines.  Located in our snack room are chips, pretzels, candy bars, soups, vienna sausages, crackers and many more munchies. Located in our drink room imported and domestic beer, sodas, tea, coffees, energy drinks, gatorade and several varieties of water.

HOT NEW LURES  --The Sparkle Marvel black bullet head overlay continues to out fish new lures.  Short Daisy chains in white and chartreuse rigged on 6 arm 9" umbrellas.  All rigs are custom and ready to fish. Rockfish rigs are ready to fish. We have umbrellas in 3 sizes, daisy chains and 3 sizes, tandem rigs and Rick's custom spreader rig. Come in and design your own custom Rockfish rig.
